The UV+ Probe developed by Belec expands the capabilities of the Belec Compact Port HLC. In addition to phosphorus (P) and sulphur (S), nitrogen (N) in duplex steels* can also be precisely analysed. An integrated spectrometer makes this possible, as the low measuring wavelengths of these elements cannot be transmitted via a fibre optic cable. Despite the additional technology, the probe remains compact and easy to use.
