Stationary Spectrometers

The most important feature of stationary spectrometers is the sparking stand. Samples can be analysed at the installation site of the instrument. The so-called laboratory instruments (like Belec Lab 3000s or Belec Vario Lab) are high-precision.
Stationary spectrometers are often used in laboratories. They convince through outstanding quality in analysis accuracy and reproducibility. A well-prepared sample is essential for a successful measuring process. As the sparking chamber is flushed by argon gas, a sample with a plane grinded surface has to cover the opening of the sparking table so that no air can get into it. For small and uneven samples there are many suitable adapters available.
The sparking process is initiated only by pressing the start button. Before that, you can enter the sample number and sample character.
After a short pre-flushing time the sparking process continues with high energy which ionizes the sparking spot. Afterwards comes the so-called integration time with considerably less discharge. The whole measuring process ends after approximately 15 seconds.
The exact analysis values are displayed on the screen, stored automatically and are printable for the customer together with the corresponding quality and material number.
